The 8th annual Wine Fest will take place on Saturday of Labor Day Weekend, from 1 to 5 p.m.Aug. 31 in Riverside Park. Local food vendors, live music and local artists will take part in the festival activities.
Samples from 12 Colorado Wineries, two Colorado Cideries and the only Sake Brewery in the state will be in attendance along with other wine distributors who will contribute wines from all over the world.
Tickets are $25 online and also available at the door. The ticket purchase includes a commemorative wine glass, four-bottle wine tote and unlimited wine samples.
According to the Salida Wine Fest website, as usual, no dogs will be allowed in the Riverside Park. But for those visitors to Salida bringing along Fido, the Salida Chamber of Commerce has Doggy Daycare accommodations listed on their website.
