Salida City Council Ward 2 Candidate Aaron Stephens
Aaron Stephens is running for the Ward 2 seat on the Salida City Council. Called a “devoted community member, he has been an active member of the Salida community since 1999.

Stephens started as a raft guide with the Boy Scouts of America, and now, nearly 25 years later, he has built a life in Salida with his wife and two children. The Stephens family has contributed thousands of hours of volunteer work for the betterment of this community over the past two decades.
He is the owner of A.J. Stephens Excavation and Trucking. “With years of experience as both a resident of Ward 2 and a blue-collar business owner, I’ll bring a fresh and much-needed perspective to City Council,” said Aarons.
Stephens adds that he is passionate about preserving Salida’s heritage while also addressing its current needs. His commitment to finding practical solutions underlies what he references as “understanding the challenges faced by the town with growth and development.
His friends say that his unwavering character and compassionate nature make him an excellent candidate for City Council and that he understands Salida, is ready to serve the community, and is committed to representing the interests of all Salida residents.
“My campaign is driven by the conviction that it’s essential to represent not only my loved ones but everyone in my constituency,” says Stephens. “I am running for office with a foundation of honesty and empathy, striving to serve all voters authentically and effectively.”
