Composer, guitarist, and vocalist Justin Allison will play at Vino Salida from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, October 7. The public is invited to come enjoy Allison’s musical stylings and treat their palate to some wine. Vino Salida is located at 10495 County Road 120 in Poncha Springs.
According to his website, Justin has shared the stage with a wide variety of artists, such as Curtis Stigers, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, Tuck and Patti, George Benson, Ray Charles, Natalie Cole, Rosanna Vitro, Al Green, and Tito Puente.
Allison’s music includes elements of Swing, Samba, Bossa, Blues, and Ballads.
A full list of upcoming events at the winery is available on Vino Salida’s website, including the upcoming “Make Your Own Sourdough Starter” class from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 8.
The sourdough class is hosted by winemaker Steve Flynn and costs $35, which includes instructions, materials, and a glass of wine. Reservations are recommended for the sourdough event and can be done by email or phone to Steve@VinoSalida.com or 719-539-6299.
