The Ark Valley Coalition for a Sustainable Energy Future (AVEF) has scheduled two virtual sessions beginning in April with the intent of educating members of the Sangre de Cristo Electric Association (SDCEA) on aspects of clean energy.

The first virtual session is scheduled for 12:00 noon Wednesday, April 5. Speakers Ken Regelson, Tim Klco, and Rich Shoemaker will present “Solar 101: PV, Net Metering, Storage, and EV Integration.”

The coalition is an advocacy group that says that it “advocates for powering our region with clean, renewable energy from the sun, wind, water, and earth to achieve an economically and environmentally sustainable energy future.”

It plans a second virtual information session to begin at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, May 3, 2023. Speakers Kasey Provorse and Rob Rosengren will discuss home energy audits and resources.
