The nonprofit Ark Valley Helping Hands (AVHH) has set from 1:00 p.m. to 4;00 p.m. Saturday, April 29 as its spring cleanup day. The announcement comes with a request for volunteers for the event.
The work includes window-washing and light yard work to help the county’s older citizens in both Salida and Buena Vista. The work will be followed by a happy hour.

AVHH vets its volunteers and provides services only to members of AVHH.
