Today, Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet announced his San Luis Valley staff will hold office hours for Chaffee County on Thursday, August 11.  Bennet and his team are committed to answering Coloradans’ questions, listening to their concerns, and helping them navigate federal agencies.

If you need help dealing with the Department of Veterans Affairs, IRS, Social Security Administration, or another federal agency, or if you have a suggestion for Congress that will help your family or community, Bennet invites you to speak one-on-one with a member of his staff during his upcoming local office hours.

U.S. Senator Michael Bennet

“There’s no greater responsibility as Colorado’s senator than being responsive to the needs of Coloradans across our state. I’m pleased to announce that our office will hold in-person office hours this summer,” said Bennet. “If you’re having issues navigating a federal agency or receiving benefits, or have any questions, comments, or concerns, I encourage you to schedule time to talk with our team.”

On Thursday, August 11, Bennet’s San Luis Valley Regional Director Erin Minks, will hold office hours for Chaffee County residents.

Office Hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, Thursday, August 11 in the second Floor Meeting Room of the Chaffee County Courthouse located at 104 Crestone Ave Salida, CO 81201.

Coloradans who live in Chaffee County are encouraged to schedule an appointment with Erin by emailing: Erin_Minks@bennet.senate.gov or calling: 719-587-0096.

When you request an appointment, include your name, address, phone number, and a brief description of the issue you want to address, as this will help her assist you. If you are already working with someone in Bennet’s office, please include that information in your email, as well.

Constituents are welcome to call any of the Bennet offices at any time for assistance and do not need to wait for office hours to ask for help or share opinions.
