The Town of Buena Vista Board of Trustees will convene for their regular meeting starting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25 at the Buena Vista Community Center. One agenda item is likely to attract pubic interest: Buena Vista Board of Trustees will discuss Municipal Code concerning parking recreational or camping vehicles.
Ordinance Number 1 regards proposed amendments to the Buena Vista Municipal Code concerning camping, parking, and recreational or camping vehicles.
Earlier this year the Buena Vista Trustees held a public hearing to consider needed regulatory changes to prevent the town’s main street and old town empty lot areas from becoming overwhelmed with campers and trailers. Concerns were also heard at that time about the number of town residents with multiple campers parked in their yards, not just for special events, but on a continuing basis, being used to house non-residents.
Items on the consent agenda include the adoption of Resolution Number 15, a resolution that would appoint Robert Dimmitt and Mark Muller as regular members to the Airport Advisory Board and Mark Godonis as an Alternate member.
Another proposed ordinance on the regular agenda concerns amending Chapter 11 of the town’s municipal code for special events.
