The Optimist Club of Buena Vista will host a pancake breakfast from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on July Fourth in Columbine Park. The park is located on Highway 24, just south of the stoplight in downtown Buena Vista behind K’s Dairy Delight.
The breakfast is all you can eat and will feature pancakes, sausage, orange juice, coffee, hot chocolate and milk for the kids. Proceeds from the event will be used to benefit youth projects in Buena Vista. The cost to attend the event is the following:
- $8 for adults,12 and older
- $3 for kids, 5 to 11
- Kids under 5 are free
COVID-19 lockdowns hit the club hard,suspending key fundraising activities which they use to support scholarships and community youth programs.
