What better way to spend them then checking out the activities in the cool indoors of the Buena Vista Public Library (BVPL). In August, they’re adding new programs and relaunching others.
The library is located at 131 Linderman Ave. in Buena Vista, CO 81211. While Fido should stay safely at home (unless he’s a service dog), you and your family have options.

BVPL is launching a new music program called “Tunes for Tots”. The program is for ages 3 to 5 years and starts at 10:00 a.m. on August 15. It’s a chance to play, sing, and move with music. Kids learn to sing on pitch, keep a beat, and play instruments in this active hour of fun.
And, Story Time is back! The program is for ages 2 to 5 years and starts at 10:00 a.m. on August 12. It’s a chance to introduce little ones to the lifelong love of reading, the enjoyment of books, and the fun of visiting their local library. Each week, activities reinforce early literacy skills through stories, songs, games and activities.
