The Town of Buena Vista’s trustees have the second phase of The Farm subdivision as well as bears and airport finances on the agenda for their regular meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 23.
In a public hearing, the board will consider a resolution for The Farm’s preliminary plat for the 9.18-acre development, which proposes 51 single-family attached and detached units, one multifamily lot (2.79 acres), and the related infrastructure. The site is east of County Road 317 and north of Antero Circle.
Phase 2 is the remaining portion of the 20.69-acre parcel that was originally platted in 2017. If approved, it will continue with The Farm’s original goal to deliver a range of attainable home ownership options with a community focus.
In other discussions/action:
- The board plans to host a discussion with Kevin Madler from the Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife regarding bears in town and situations involving trash.
- Consider a resolution to establish credit card accounts for Town employees and close out previously held debit cards.
- Consider a resolution to approve an agreement to transfer 2021 entitlements from the Central Colorado Regional Airport to the Southeast Colorado Regional Airport in Lamar.
- The board will hold a 6:00 p.m. work session that provides an overview of the municipal court.
