Buena Vista Chamber of Commerce Seeking Volunteers and Vendors for Signature Summer Events
The Buena Vista Chamber of Commerce will host two of their signature events (Art in the Park and Gold Rush Day) in this summer of 2021, as we all come out of the COVID-19 pandemic. Both events will be outdoors with plenty of space for patrons to socially distance themselves while enjoying some traditional celebrations.

According to chamber information, this year both events will focus on local artists and vendors. The chamber says that it needs community volunteers to help make it a wonderful experience for all that attend.
“We are excited to put these two events on again this year. It has been a roller coaster for everyone, including event organizers, but we are confident that we will have a safe, fun environment for the community to enjoy,” said Executive Director of the Buena Vista Chamber of Commerce Melissa Traynham. “We are, however, looking for locals who are interested in volunteering in various areas from setup and teardown, to onsite assistance. We hope to truly make this community-centered and what better way than to have more people involved.”
The Art in the Park event takes place from 9:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, July 4, 2021; with help needed during, before, or after the event.
Gold Rush Days takes place from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, July 31 and Sunday, August 1, with the volunteer assistance needed during, before, or after the event as well.
