The Buena Vista Event Cooperative (BVEC) has reopened their Legacy Brick campaign to help fund the Buena Vista Legacy Stage in McPhelemy Park. The stage opened in June 2023 and hosted free concerts throughout the season.

The bricks will be installed in the new dance floor this spring in preparation for the upcoming summer season.

A 4″ by 8″ brick costs $100 with text or $120 with text and logo. A 12″ by 12″ brick costs $500 with text and $550 with text and logo. 4″ by 4″ replica keepsake tiles are available for $20 with the purchase of a larger brick.

Organizers are offering a “baker’s dozen”; buy twelve, get one free sale for businesses that may wish to show their thanks to clients and customers by purchasing bricks for them during the holiday season.

To purchase twelve bricks and get one free, interested parties should email BVLegacyStage@Gmail.com.

Personalized bricks can be ordered online here.

The donation campaign for the Legacy Bricks will continue through January 8. The campaign will fund artists for next season’s concerts and go to maintaining and enhancing the stage.

There are also options for volunteering or becoming a sustaining sponsor. More information is available at BVLegacyStage.org.

According to their website, BVEC is a nonprofit “donating all proceeds to paying the musicians and Buena Vista nonprofits that use The Legacy Stage at McPhelemy Park in Buena Vista, CO.”
