Those in need of a little nudge to get their 2020 budget crafted have been encouraged by the Chaffee County Community Foundation (CCCF) to attend a free, county-wide training scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 23 in the Rotary Scout Hut located at 220 E. Sackett Ave in Salida.
According to a press release from CCCF, “In addition to talking about forward-looking tools like budgets, we’ll also be going over the basics of backward-looking financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash-flows, 990s, audits) making sure participants understand how to read them, how to learn from them, and most importantly, how to talk about them to donors and funders.”
The budget training is a free workshop with donations to cover the cost of the training optional when participants RSVP on the CCCF events and workshops tab or by visiting the link provided below.
