Dear Commissioners:
The Chaffee County Community Foundation (CCCF) Executive Committee and Executive Director strongly support the mandatory wearing of masks in Chaffee County during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Consistent with the CCCF scenarios published on our website www.chaffeecommunity.org/scenario-planning , supporting the use of protective face coverings is core to protecting our community against the spread of the disease. While we are all for liberty, we are not for disabling disease and death. It’s time to act and mandate face mask use to protect our businesses and community members.
