Buena Vista High School (BVHS) graduation is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 27 at the high school’s Red Gym. Seniors will meet at the Buena Vista Middle School’s (BVMS) White Gym at 9:00 a.m. for rehearsal. Graduates will then put on their caps and gowns and bus over to the elementary school for the annual parade of grads. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. for families to sit at the Red Gym, and the ceremony will begin at 10:00 a.m.
Chaffee County High School’s (CCHS) graduation will occur just a few days earlier. Graduation begins at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 24 at Adventure Unlimited 18325 County Road 366 in Buena Vista.*

May 25 is the last day of school for BVMS, BVHS, and CCHS students, initiating the start of the busy summer season and a new beginning for our local graduates.
*Correction: The Buena Vista School District’s website states the CCHS graduation is at 2:00 p.m. A CCHS student indicates it actually begins at 5:30 p.m. at Adventure Unlimited.
