Chaffee Arts made an announcement this week about upcoming events to which local artists are invited to display their work for holiday purchasing, beginning with Small Business Saturday on Nov. 30. In a community event, they call “Art Under the Cupola,” artists will display their artwork for sale at the Heritage Museum in the Old Courthouse Gallery located at 511 East Main St in Buena Vista.

The Chaffee Arts events displaying local artwork will kick off at 10 a.m., running until 4 p.m. on Nov. 30. More than 15 artists will have booths offering for sale a wide variety of artworks for holiday gift shopping.

Also, on Small Business Saturday, there will be a free-to-the-public wine reception from 4 to 6 p.m. for added enjoyment while browsing through the art booths.

The following weekend from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7, Chaffee Arts will be offering chocolate treats and local artists will display artworks for holiday shoppers in the Christmas Opening and Chocolate Walk Event.

Chaffee Arts says it encourages community members to support the local art community and visit booths to purchase unique, local art for holiday gift-giving.
