Beginning at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14, the Chaffee Board of County Commissioners faces another full day of agenda items. Among those items will be consideration of Resolution 2021-67 Ratification and Extension/Amendment #14 of Declaration of Local Disaster Emergency.

Items include a discussion of the county’s Private Activity Bond allocation by Director of Housing Becky Gray and a Public Hearing to consider a Resolution and Warranty Deed from the Salida School District to transfer 9051 CR 140 in Unincorporated Chaffee County, Colorado, to Chaffee County.

The county will also consider a Bureau of Land Management (BLM )- FLMAA Right of Way process for the replacement of the unsafe bridge over the Arkansas River in Granite for CR 397 involving some BLM parcels and consider a letter of support for the U.S. Forest Service (USFS) Salida Ranger District for the 2022 CPW Non-Motorized Trail Grant.

The Ogden Major Subdivision Preliminary Plan-Final Plat submitted by applicants Ralph and April Ogden for their property at 12806 CR 190E has been continued to October 12.
