The organization calling itself Chaffee County Patriots has planned its August monthly meeting for this coming Friday night, Aug. 12 as a candidate debate. The event will feature a debate among the three candidates for the Chaffee Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) District 3 seat. It has been held by Commissioner Rusty Granzella (Republican) who is not running for reelection.
The three candidates are Democrat P.T. Wood, Republican Brandon Becker, and unaffiliated candidate Adriane Kuhn.
The debate begins at 6:30 p.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church and will be heard on Eagle Country 104 Radio. Ark Valley Voice has no indication at publication time of the questions the candidates will be asked.
