While the Chaffee Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) work session beginning at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 9 includes the normal department review items, today it also includes discussion and consideration of appointments for important county committees.
The BoCC will consider Letters of Interest and Set Interviews for open Planning Commission Seats.

Next, it will consider recommendations for the following Board Appointments:
- Heritage Board
- METAB Board
- Right to Ranch Panel
- Airport Board
- Fair Committee
- Transportation Advisory Board
- Visitors Bureau
- Common Ground Citizens Advisory Committee
- Board of Adjustment
- Board of Review
It will include discussion of EPA Solid Waste Infrastructure necessary to qualify for a recycling grant.
At 1:15 p.m. , the BoCC will lead a Land Management Agencies Stakeholder Meeting, and at 2:15 p.m. a Congressional Leadership Update. The work session will end with a discussion of St. Elmo Water Rights on the Abandonment List.
