The Chaffee Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) will hold a work session beginning at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 5 in the commissioner’s meeting room at 104 Crestone Avenue, Salida. The meeting will feature a discussion with an AT&T representative regarding a strong wind event and the resulting extended service outage. The county has been impacted repeatedly by extended service outages, and the county is looking for reassurances that the problems are being addressed.

Among the discussion topics is an update from the Chaffee County Weed Department and a discussion of a 2024 Congressionally Directed Spending Request.

Also on their agenda will be an update from the Chaffee Housing Authority, followed by a break for lunch. convening again at 1:15 p.m. The BoCC will meet with the land management agencies and stakeholders, and at 2:15 p.m. and will get an update from our Congressional Leadership.
