Chaffee Clerk and Recorder’s Office begins Ballot Collection

Ballots arrived across Chaffee County last Friday and Saturday, and the Chaffee County Clerk and Recorders Office is at work separating the envelopes from the ballots, verifying signatures, and preparing ballots for tabulation on election day, November 7, 2023.

Monday, October 24 was the first day to drop off ballots. This is the return record for the first three days:

A total of 1,088 ballots have been returned, and there are 15,886 registered voters in Chaffee County.
