The Chaffee Board of County Commissioners faces a full agenda for their 9 a.m. regular meeting June 25 in Buena Vista. High on the list is a feasibility assessment presentation by Colorado Mountain College Vice President and Campus Dean of Leadville and Chaffee County Rachael Pokrandt.

Commissioners will hold a discussion regarding policies and procedures for submittals, continued from their May 21 meeting. Three liquor license renewals are on the agenda; for Ponderosa Lodge Inc, Lucky Pickle LLC, and JV Food Shop Inc.

Commissioners will hold a discussion on the requesst for their endorsement of the Browns Canyon National Monument Resource Mgmt. Plan Sustainable Alternative.

Commissioners will vote to approve three resolutions prepared as a result of their June 11 meeting. They include: the Melton Minor Subdivision, the Cactus Ranch Major Subdivision, and the addition of the words “the Board of Health” to the county’s 15-day sign posting requirements.

Also on the agenda is a budget amendment for the potential purchase of a new election machine from Runbeck Election Services. The goal would be to have the election machine in place, tested and ready for the 2020 election. season.

Commissioners will follow the public meeting agenda with an executive session, for purposes of receiving legal advice to evolve a strategy involving interpretation of the HRRMC ambulance transport contract.
