Chaffee County Public Health reminds the public that their new Chaffee Community Clinic (CCC) mobile health clinic is up and running. As earlier reported by Ark Valley Voice the goal of the CCC is to serve those that often have a difficult time accessing affordable healthcare.

According to Mike Orrill, CCPH Special Projects Coordinator, this includes unhoused, uninsured and under-insured, under-resourced, undocumented persons, those struggling with substance use and mental health disorders, LGBTQ+,  The clinic will provide very basic medical, dental and harm-reduction services, resource navigation, and referrals to area medical, dental and mental health providers.

All services will be offered at no cost to the patient, no reservations or ID’s are required and both Salida and Buena Vista have weekly visits as shown here.

The clinic will not be in competition with other providers of health services, intending instead to partner with them for a greater depth of service.
