The Chaffee County Community Foundation (CCCF) will host two free events to help support local nonprofits (NPOs) and businesses.
From 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on February 23, CCCF will host the ChaffeeCommons Focus Group. CCCF is unveiling a new back-of-the-house support program and is asking for feedback from local nonprofits via a focus group.
This membership-based program will provide administrative and back-end support to local NPOs so they can focus more on their mission. Services include platforms for managing boards of directors, volunteers, bookkeeping, and more. Click here to RSVP.
From 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on February 25, CCCF will host an Effective Writing Workshop.
This workshop is intended to help increase the chances of winning a grant, create a not-so-brutal writing process and save time. Jodi Breckenridge Petit will host the event. Petit began her grant writing career in 1987 with red “Reader’s Guide to Periodicals” and a word processor. She currently advises defense contractors and nonprofits both nationally and locally to create clear products from her home in Salida. To RSVP, click here.
