On March 18 the Chaffee County Community Foundation (CCCF) will host an informational meeting from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on the Jane’s Place development.
In partnership with the Chaffee Housing Authority, CCCF earlier announced a proposal to develop a half-acre site at the corner of U.S. 291 and West Third Street in Salida to serve local flexible housing and nonprofits needs. The development is currently being called “Jane’s Place” in honor of the late Jane Whitmer.
This informational meeting will provide an overview of the proposed project and allow attendees to ask questions. It is open to the public and will be held virtually via Zoom.
