The Chaffee County Democratic Party has a new meeting format for their pre-primary caucus this election year. For the first time, they will caucus virtually on Zoom. The session will open at 12:30 p.m., continue with breakouts beginning at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 5, to be followed by their Assembly at 3:00 p.m.
All Caucus attendees are eligible to attend the Assembly session.
The local political party notes that not only are its candidates qualified, but they are also running unopposed. The Assembly will nominate the following candidates for the Nov. 2022 election:
P.T. Wood for County Commissioner
Jeff Graf for County Coroner
Lori Mitchell for County Clerk and Recorder
Preregistration is required for those wishing to attend the caucus session.
