The 4-H Junior Market livestock sale returns in person at 6:30 p.m. on Friday July 30.

This event is a community favorite as youth in the community go on to sell livestock they have raised, most as 4-H projects. For many of them, the proceeds from the livestock sale go toward their higher education at colleges and trade schools.

Those who wish to participate in bidding in the livestock sale are encouraged to come to the event in-person to place their bids. Last year during the depths of the COVID-19 pandemic, the auction was held online, and organizers say they are happy that this year it can return as an in-person event.

There will be a buyer’s reception before the sale begins at 5:00 p.m.

The event is located at the Chaffee Fairgrounds 10165 CR 120 Salida, Colorado.
