Chaffee County Public Health is offering free yard signs that exhibit the county’s five commitments to the containment and effort to lessen the spread of COVID-19. The commitments include:

  1. Maintaining six feet of distance
  2. Washing hands often
  3. Wearing face coverings in public
  4. Getting tested if symptoms develop
  5. Staying home when sick

“In addition to sharing our key messages through our online dashboard, weekly reports, press releases and social media, we decided that signage throughout the county would be advantageous and demonstrate our countywide solidarity in keeping our community healthy during the pandemic,” said Chaffee County Public health Director Andrea Carlstrom. “We are fortunate in that we recently received grant funding to produce various marketing collaterals. We continue to explore new avenues for spreading the word about how to slow the spread of COVID-19.”
