In observance of President’s Day on Monday, Feb. 17, some County, Town and City offices will be closed. Community members should be aware of the following office schedules as the country observes the National holiday on Monday, Feb. 17:
Chaffee County offices will be closed on Monday, Feb. 17.
City of Salida offices will be closed on Monday, Feb 17. The work session of the Salida City Council has been rescheduled to proceed the regular meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 18 beginning at 5 p.m.
Town of Buena Vista offices will be closed on Monday, Feb. 17.
Town of Poncha Springs offices will be closed on Monday, Feb. 17.
Critical services and resources, including police dept., fire departments, search and rescue and the Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office all operate on regular coverage schedules, regardless of holidays.
