The Chaffee County Writers Exchange (CCWE) is sponsoring a writing workshop from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 28. The virtual workshop will be conducted via Zoom. The workshop is free and open to the public.
In this month’s WE Write, award-winning author and story lover Laurel McHargue will highlight the elements of a satisfying short story and get you started on spinning your own assorted yarns. With prompts designed to tickle the tales right out of you, this session will leave you with what it takes to captivate even the toughest audience! If you enjoy writing, you won’t want to miss this exciting opportunity.
Laurel McHargue, a West Point grad, and author of 12 books, was raised near Boston but answered the siren call of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains, where she settled first in Leadville, then in Salida. She writes about life, real and imagined, and hosts the podcast ‘Alligator Preserves.’ You can find out more about Laurel at her website www.leadvillelaurel.com.
Advance registration is required. To attend, register with Laurel at: email@example.com to get your Zoom link to the meeting.
