The Chaffee County Democrats will welcome statewide candidates to their upcoming Big Tent Barbecue from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, at Poncha Springs Town Hall, 330 Burnett Ave. in Poncha Springs.
Lieutenant governor candidate Dianne Primevera will represent the Jared Polis for governor campaign, and secretary of state candidate Jena Griswold will also attend.
Dr. Stephanie Rose Spaulding, Congressional District 5 candidate and Colorado House District 60 candidate Erin Kelley will both speak. All Chaffee County candidates will attend as well as Dr. Tony Wolusky, University of Colorado regent candidate.
Entertainment will be provided by Salida Circus. Tickets are limited and are available online at chaffeecountydemocrats.org or at the door.
