The Chaffee Patriots announced this week that their April meeting will feature the Buena Vista Police Department and the Chaffee County Sheriffs Department.
The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 8 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church located a 118 South Gunnison Ave. Buena Vista.
Topics to be covered will include community policing, with an emphasis on the Second Amendment (Ed. note: which by the way is not in danger) “Red Flag” laws, self-defense, hunting in Colorado and gun safety. The session is also expected to include a review of the county’s SWAT team capabilities.
