The Chaffee Planning Commission will meet for its regular September meeting beginning at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6. It has two main agenda items, including a subdivision final plat for a boundary line adjustment, and revisions to the first draft module of the new Chaffee County Land Use Code.

It had been scheduled to review the Alpine West Conceptual Planned Development. But based on a request for a continuance from the applicant and staff, that review is now continued to Oct 4, 2022.
The Boone & Peuser Minor Subdivision Final Plat is a request to subdivide Tract 1-R ( 10180 County Road 190 W, Salida) of the Hall Boundary Line Adjustment of 4.98 acres into two lots of 2.524 acres (Lot 1, with the existing house, well and on-site wastewater treatment system) and 2.00 acres (Lot 2, vacant). The request includes dedicating a Right of Way for Murphy Road (0.454 acres) on the plat.
The review of the draft of the Land Use Code (LUC) includes another public hearing to consider Land Use Code Text Amendments. As promised, the county continues to hold public hearings as the new LUC is developed.
