The Tuesday, Oct. 29 work session for the Chaffee County Planning Commission will focus on an update regarding progress on the new Chaffee County Comprehensive Plan. The work session begins at 5 p.m. in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room at 104 Crestone Ave. and will be led by Commissioner Keith Baker.

The county kicked off the planning process in mid-summer, with the goal of completing a plan draft by spring, 2020. It has been conducting extensive public input meetings incorporating demographic audiences as well as geographic representation across the county.

The 6 p.m. regular Planning Commission session will begin with a review of the RGP Industrial Park Major Subdivision Preliminary plan. This session was continued form the Sept. 24 Planning Commission meeting.

Applicants Tracy Guccione and David Padoven propose to divide 70.31 acres located at 10000 CR 140 into six lots. Five of the lots will be approximately 2.1 acres, with the remaining lot totaling 53.5 acres, plus a right-of-way.

Next on the agenda is the Virga Minor Subdivision Final Plat, which proposes to subdivide 9.4 acres located at 6644 CR 110, in Salida into two lots.

The final item on the Planning Commission agenda is a review of the Larks Perch Major Subdivision Preliminary Plan, proposed by 9479 Huchinson LLC, c/o Integrity Trust Company. The 36.78 acre rural-zoned parcel would be subdivided into 14 lots.
