The Chaffee County Planning Commission has short agenda planned for its April 30 regular meeting in the Commissioner’s Meeting Room at 104 Crestone Ave., Salida with only two public hearings. But that abbreviated scheduled will follow a joint work session with Chaffee County Commissioners that begins at 4:30 p.m. to consider the selection of the consultant that will guide the update of the Chaffee County Comprehensive Plan.
At 6 p.m. the planning commissioners will hold a public hearing for the Nola Minor Subdivision sketch plan located at 7505 CR 156W Salida. Applicants Willem Adams and Derek Aker are requesting to divide 4.06 acres into two residential lots with the minimum lot size being 2.03 acres.
A second public hearing is scheduled for Monarch Shadows Minor Subdivision sketch plan, located at 8526 CR 240E, Salida The applicants, Monarch Shadows Inc., and Joseph L. Speers, are requesting to divide 54.8 acres of rural-zoned land into four lots with the minimum lot size being 3.5 acres. The project was tabled from the March 26 planning commission meeting.
