The Chaffee Recreation Task Force is scheduled to meet from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 2 on Zoom for their regular meeting. The first featured item on the agenda is a presentation of the first draft of the Recreation Annual Report to the Community.

This first Annual Report, which is still in draft form, will provide an update on progress in Year 1 of the program.
An update on the Rec Adopters Program introduced last year will focus on how community members can sign up to adopt areas across the county, and use the new Rec Collector app. In fact, those who sign up to adopt an area can help test the coming Towns and Trails functions.
Also on the agenda will be program updates, a presentation of the Trails Management plan, an All Lands Camping Plan, a status report on the Chaffee Rec Rangers, the GARNA Waste Management Programs, and WAG Bags, and updates on a major grants plan.
