The Salida Public Works Department began working on Monday with a contractor to complete pavement and curb markings in the downtown area from Sackett Avenue to 4th Street between E Street and G Street.  According to Public Works Streets Supervisor Alex Wiser, parking stall work is complete and blue and yellow curb markings and ADA parking stencils will follow.

The 2022 work is scheduled to continue through Wednesday, May 4.  The city plans that street access will be maintained. However, some parking stalls will be inaccessible while the marking work is underway.
