As previously reported by Ark Valley Voice, Thursday, June 4 the City of Salida closed two blocks of F Street to vehicle traffic in order to repurpose the space to allow for more social distancing among pedestrians during these times of COVID-19.

Businesses have made use of the space in a variety of ways including providing spacing, outdoor dining seating, and other retail displays.

The City is now seeking feedback from business owners, residents, and tourists about the repurposing of F Street. What people think about this space and the current use will be taken into account as the city assesses its response to support its businesses recover from the impact of the coronavirus known as COVID-19.

The city is accepting feedback through June 29, in conjunction with the Salida of Chamber of Commerce and the Salida Business Alliance. To make your voice heard, click here to complete the survey.
