The Colorado Mountain College (CMC) Board of Trustees holds a two-day session beginning at 1000 a.m. Monday, August 29, and running through Tuesday, August 30, with the sessions held at the CMC Leadville Campus Climax Building.

The focus of the first day is a Government Relations Committee preview of the upcoming Colorado Legislative session, followed by the Trustees’ Annual Planning Retreat.

Tuesday, August 30 will begin with a Community and Campus Meet and Greet to allow the community to meet the CMC Board of Trustees, followed by a work session on mill levy forecasting and the CMC long-range planning model as it relates to strategic planning.

The afternoon will include CMC President and CEO Dr. Carrie Besnette Hauser, presenting the President’s Report and Agenda overview, a review of lease amendments, and revisions to board policy. An executive session is convened for discussion of potential capital projects in Chaffee County, which is the newest CMC District.

Important to note: All CMC campuses will be closed on Sept. 5 for Labor Day.
