The Tuesday, October 4 Colorado Mountain College (CMC) Work Session and Strategic Planning Meeting will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the CMC Spring Valley campus located at 3000 County Road 114, Glenwood Springs, CO. The day is broken into a morning work session followed by a working lunch, the Trustee Meeting scheduled from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 pm, followed by a 3:00 p.m. tour of Spring Valley Campus, including the new solar array.

The board agenda for the work session will include:
Mill Levy and Budget Scenarios Boyd (8:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.)
Spotlight on Academics Regional/Deans (9:15 a.m.to 10:30 a.m.)
Strategic Planning and Strategies (10:45 a.m.to 2:00 p.m.)
The 2:00 p.m. Trustee Meeting is tightly scheduled including a public comment invitation, the President’s Report and Agenda Overview by Dr. Carrie Hauser, and a discussion regarding compliance policy planning, and a three-item consent agenda.
Moving to action items, the Trustees will take up a family leave resolution, the Aspen Teaching Kitchen contract, and discuss local ballot measures.
In new business, trustees reviewed some of their action items for their Joint Boards Meeting on Dec. 12-13 at Morgridge Commons: including conflict of Interest and Affirmation Services, spring Sabbatical Reports, reviewing quarterly financials (Q4 2021-22 Final, Q1 2022-23). At that same meeting the board will need to:
• Accept annual audit
• Certify mill levy
• Review resolution and appropriation of reserves
• GLBA-Cybersecurity Update
• Joint meeting/strategic planning with the CMC Foundation Board of Directors
