Colorado Mountain College (CMC) has commenced a local business survey to gain information to adjust its business education offerings to assure it is meeting community needs.

The purpose of the business industry needs assessment is to determine employer needs to align workforce relevant credentials with curriculum advancements in the business school.

“Help us identify employee skill set needs that would be valuable for your business, by completing a brief 10-minute survey. Talk to all stakeholders in your company to gain insight into what skills would be most beneficial to have,” explains the request for business participation.

According to CMC, the results of this regional survey will be used to inform CMC’s Business Summit this coming fall 2022. CMC plans to invite all business employers in the Western Slope to participate in conversations regarding educational attainment and workforce alignment. During the Summit, the college will share the survey results.
