In honor of Martin Luther King Day on January 18,  Colorado Mountain College (CMC) is pleased to present Dr. Marcia Chatelain who will deliver an hour-long virtual lecture titled “Building Bridges to Common Ground.”

Chatelain is an acclaimed author and professor of history and African American studies at Georgetown University. Her presentation begins at 12 p.m. and will be available to  CMC students, employees and the greater community via Zoom. Click here to join.

Chatelain will address the ways that Dr. King’s teachings and accomplishments can help unify during a time of divisiveness and turmoil.

On January 19, the public is invited to listen in on a moderated Zoom panel discussion among faculty. The panel will also include student perspectives.
