Salida Elks Lodge No. 808 is eager to continue the ‘Community Christmas Basket Program.’
The Elks Lodge provides the location, and volunteers, to distribute food and toys to those who are in need of support during this season of goodwill. The program is enhanced when as many people in the community who are able, contribute to this worthy cause. The program needs, and thanks you for your generous support.
The Lodge is accepting monetary donations, non-perishable food items, and toys for children. Donations are accepted daily (after 4 pm) at 148 East 2nd Street, Salida. (please ring the bell upstairs). You may also call 719-539-6976 to arrange for pickup of your donations.
Stop by and visit the Lodge basement (bingo room) to see your donations at work, and share the good feelings. Christmas baskets and toys will be distributed on Friday, December 14th from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Saturday, December 15th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
