Colorado’s 5th Congressional District Congressman Doug Lamborn will be visiting Buena Vista today, Aug. 12.

Chaffee County is in the 5th Congressional District Lamborn represents.
A source from the Buena Vista Chamber of Commerce stated that Lamborn is expected to arrive at the Central Regional Airport in Buena Vista at 3 p.m. and meet with Mayor Duff Lacy at the airport.
While much of his agenda are meetings not open to the public, during his visit to the airport he plans to discuss the runway setup and reviewed the helicopter setup for fire mitigation. Also on his agenda is a stop at the energy coalition, and a closed meeting with the commissioners to talk about fire mitigation and access to public lands.
