Bill Ridout is sponsoring a country-western dance at the Salida Rotary Scout Hut, located in Riverside Park, in the 200 block of Sackett Ave. beginning at 5:45 p.m. Sat. Aug. 21.

Organizers say this will be a mix of country dancing, line dancing, and other dances thrown in for fun.
Pizza will be delivered at 5:45 p.m., but attendees are asked to let Bill know ahead of time if you want pizza by texting 918-902-6094. Bring a dessert to share if you want.
Event cost is $7 for the dance, $12 for the dance and pizza.
