The Chaffee County Board of Commissioners have a packed agenda for their regular meeting scheduled for 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, in the Commissioners Meeting Room at the County Building, 104 Crestone Ave. in Salida.
There will be a public hearing to consider a minor subdivision exemption in order to subdivide a 34.61-acre lot on CR 175 into two lots of 14.59 acres and 20.02 acres, respectively. In addition, there are two requests for extensions of addenda to the subdivision improvement agreements for the Chipeta Meadows minor subdivision and the Strother minor subdivision.
The commissioners also will continue a discussion begun at their Aug. 21 meeting of ballot language for the November election regarding a measure to override Senate Bill 05-152, which limits the ability of local governments to provide broadband services to their counties.
Other new business includes a consideration of the marijuana excise tax collections period, a contract for the Oak Leaf Community Solar Garden and a resolution concerning the House Rock minor subdivision plat. The full agenda may be viewed at chaffeecounty.org.
