The Communities that Care (CTC) coalition will meet for its every-other-month meeting from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 15. The location is still being finalized (meetings rotate between Buena Vista and Salida, and the upcoming meeting will be in Salida). The effort focuses on reducing risky youth behaviors including early substance abuse.
The agenda includes updates from each CTC work group:
- Availability of Substances
- Early Initiation of Use ( a report by the Teen councils and Dibby Olson
- An update on the “Listen Longer” media campaign
- A report from the Minority Youth Health Disparities Group
The group will discuss the Shared Risk and Protective Factor Conference set for May 6th and a”Conversation Chair” kickoff event.
