Día de los Muertos  (Day of the Dead) fiesta and parade is back for 2021. This annual event is hosted by “Las Tres Amigas” – local artists Andrea Mossman, Krista Jarvis, and Tina Gramann. Participants will meet at Alpine Park at 5:45 p.m. on Friday November 5. Starting at 6:00 p.m. the Procession down F Street to the river will begin.

The parade will pause to remember our departed. 7:00 p.m. starts the Celebration at A Church with a community ofrenda, live music, stories, and activities such as sugar skull decorating, papel picado, and more for all ages. Community members are invited to bring a photo of their loved one to display on the ofrenda at A Church. This a free event with donations accepted.

Día de los Muertos or The Day of the Dead is a holiday celebrated from October 31 through November 2 inclusive, though other days, such as November 6, may be included depending on the locality.
