Several of Dimmitt’s photographs are on display at the BV Health Center. This is in addition to the current display in the lobby of the hospital at 1000 Rush Drive in Salida.

Robert Dimmitt is a retired former employee of the HRRMC Buena Vista Health Center. He has been able to focus on his photography more in retirement but has been capturing images of Colorado in and around Buena Vista for more than 35 years.

Dimmitt’s favorite scenes to photograph include the ever-changing Collegiate Peaks and upper Arkansas River Valley. This is an area he has called home since early childhood.

The constant change in the surrounding mountain landscapes is a natural subject matter for him, as it reflects all the change he has seen in BV over the years.

HRRMC displays the work of regional artists each quarter, with an emphasis on the Arkansas Valley. For more information on exhibiting art at HRRMC, those interested can 719-530-2217.
