The Salida Pregnancy Resource Center is celebrating life with its annual Baby Bottle Fundraiser from May 13 through June 17.
Baby bottles may be picked up from the Salida Pregnancy Resource Center, located at 215 E. Third Str., or from any of the following churches: Crossroads Church, Grace Church, First Lutheran Church, First United Methodist Church, First Presbyterian Church, Living Waters Assembly of God, Poncha Springs Church of Christ, River Valley Community Fellowship, St. Joseph Catholic Church, Salida Vineyard Fellowship and Temple Baptist Church.
Baby bottles may be filled with coins, bills or a check and returned to the center or to the church where it was picked up.
The Salida Pregnancy Resource Center is a nonprofit organization funded solely by private local donations and grants. The money received from this fundraiser is used to serve the many women who come to the center to confirm a pregnancy, be tested for STDs or to take lessons to become a better parent. The center also maintains a boutique where clients may earn points to obtain clothing and other items necessary to take care of a baby.
